Tickets can be obtained from Eventbrite. Until Friday 30th. On the day of the conference it will be possible to register and buy tickets at the Senate room.

Speakers will include:

Dr Peter Shambrook: Palestine during the British Mandate:  Competing Narratives, Creative Commemoration

John Bond, OAM,  former Secretary of the Australian Journey of Healing: How could civil society mark the centenary of the Balfour Declaration?

Photographer – Judah Passow will screen a short presentation about his Promised Lands project, which looks at the conflicting identities of Israel’s Arab citizens.

Plenary discussions on how to mark the centenary of the Balfour Declaration with a panel including  the main speakers, Professor Liz Harris  formerly Department of Theology, Philosophy and Religious Studies, Liverpool Hope University, Christine Elliott Director of World Church Programmes, Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, Judah Passow and Rev Dr Yazid Said lecturer in Islam at LHU

The exhibition Britain in Palestine, Balfour’s Legacy, which the Balfour Project was invited to present in the Scottish Parliament last year, will also be on display.
